Pax Sustainability Update - May 2024

Sustainability is at the core of who we are at Pax Environmental Inc., and 2024 marks the first year that we will track our efforts, publicize our goals, and share ongoing efforts, challenges, and achievements within each facet of our sustainability program . We kicked off this year by establishing an Employee Resource Group (ERG) dedicated to holding Pax accountable and on track, while fostering a company culture aligned with our goals and missions.

Pax’s newly minted ERG is composed of Biologists Thomas McNamara and Ariana Dorticos, Archeologists Emma Been and Jorge Peralta, and Paleontologist Esmeralda Elsrouji. This team is comprised of like-minded individuals from multiple disciplines who share a common goal: advancing Pax’s sustainability goals and mission while creating a culture of sustainability.

Tangible goals for 2024 include planting 500 trees, fostering a Pax-funded volunteer program, and increasing our impact with local non-profits that align with our core values.
